Juilliard's renowned Music Division is the largest and most diverse of the School's three divisions, with some 600 students from more than 40 countries. Its distinguished faculty includes internationally renowned soloists, chamber, and orchestral musicians, as well as leading pedagogues and scholars. Among them are recipients of Pulitzer Prizes, Grammy and Academy Awards, and numerous prominent fellowships.
Juilliard's guitar department enjoys an outstanding reputation, attracting talented young artists from around the world. The department is led by renowned guitarist Sharon Isbin, who established the program in 1989.
Works by Rodrigo, Assad, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Barrios and Ginastera.
